De-chlorination

The Importance of De-chlorination
Chlorine presents hazards and harmful effects. To protect the environment, people, and wildlife, we use sodium thiosulphate to neutralise chlorine before flushing to ground, sewer, or stormwater. De-chlorination is also used for safely draining large tank systems or reducing chlorine levels.
How we can help
We employ a purpose-built de-chlorination venturi system that uses incoming water flow to dose as we flush the line, removing contaminants simultaneously. Chlorine strips are used to monitor and identify any residual chlorine in the pipeline, providing color-coded pH levels to ensure the system functions correctly. This guarantees that no high levels of chlorinated water are released into the environment, ensuring safety and compliance with environmental standards.
