Two Decades of Expertise
Founded by leading testing technician and director Alex Rondel, Maestros benefits from his extensive experience spanning over 12 years. Alex began his career working directly on-site, learning from industry veterans and honing his skills in drain laying and water installation. His journey progressed as he took on roles as a foreman and supervisor, eventually leading to specialisation in pipeline testing, chlorination, and project management.
Today, Alex channels his passion and expertise into the civil construction industry, both in Canterbury and beyond. His commitment is to deliver cost-efficient solutions that focus on enhancing lifestyles rather than maximising profits.

Alex Rondel
Managing Director
Alex Rondel, Managing Director of Maestros Water Solutions, is a highly skilled water installer with Level 4 qualifications in both water installation and drain laying. With over a decade of experience in the civil construction industry, Alex has extensive expertise in laying kilometres of drainage and managing complex live water connections. He is also an approved water installer for Christchurch City Council.
His comprehensive experience includes the installation of DI, PE, concrete, and PVC pipes, as well as pipeline pressure testing, PE welding, and operating class 4 trucks and excavators. Alex’s deep knowledge and hands-on experience drive the excellence and reliability that define Maestros Water Solutions.
