Water supply networks must be pre-chlorinated before commissioning. As expert chlorination contractors, we disinfect and clean water storage, water supply mains, and temporary supplies, both commercial and residential. We ensure cleanliness using a sodium hypochlorite solution, or "chlorine," which effectively kills harmful bacteria.
How we can help
Our cleaning procedure for water supply networks begins with pre-chlorination, using either direct injection dosing pumps or hand-mixing methods for smaller networks. The chlorine must have a minimum contact time of 24 hours with the network to ensure maximum effectiveness. After 24 hours, the network is flushed with fresh, clean water and is ready for bacteria sampling, which is conducted at approved laboratories.
Once these samples are approved, the network is ready for commissioning. We use chlorine injection systems to dose water supplies accurately to any required level. Additionally, we specialise in chlorinating large-volume water tanks, including well water systems, storage tanks, and tank reservoirs. This ensures that all water supplies meet the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
